 Position: Bilingual Teacher (Part-Time / Hourly)

Lead after-school classes and school break camps in a collaborative, playful learning environment.

📍 Location

Seattle, WA — work sites vary by program schedule.

🗓 Schedule

  • After-school program hours generally mid-afternoon through early evening (approx. 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM)

  • Full-day hours during school breaks (winter, spring, summer)

  • Program schedule may vary by location and enrollment

💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate, engaging bilingual lessons (English + Spanish)

  • Foster a supportive learning culture that centers language learning and creativity

  • Supervise groups of students in activities, in both indoor and outdoor public spaces such as city parks, including literacy, arts, games, songs and movement

  • Communicate with families and staff with professionalism and warmth

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment

📚 Minimum Qualifications

✔️ At least 5 years of experience working with children in dual-language programs, or international/immersion schools 
✔️ Comfort supporting children ages K–8 with diverse needs and backgrounds
✔️ Strong communication skills in English & Spanish 
✔️ Ability to design engaging activities that support language acquisition

💰 Compensation

  • Hourly pay at or above the Seattle Minimum Wage of at least $21.30 per hour, effective January 1, 2026

  • Pay may be commensurate with experience and program role.
